I'm now booked for this. I've had man flu all week and have 8km on the mtb for 2016 so not looking for any records on Sat. Still, should be fun.

Anyone interested in Da Cooley Thriller? I haven't been on a MTB in a while, but if can I get a few MTB spins in during the next two weeks I might feel up to doing this.

I can't recall having seen a GAA pitch in Kildavin.

oh, I get it now. I didn't know what I was doing when I bought my licence.
No matter, probably a good idea to do a few club races before getting into a road race - so this is probably for the best.

Having looked at my licence it seems to be good for everything except open road races. I have no idea what that such a thing might be. Is this an "open road race"?

Just noticed this is in bunclody on Sunday.

Bit of advice please, can I simply show up,at the sign on, show my CI license and jump in the race?

Do I need a club Jersey? Is it possible to get one somehow before Sunday?

Right, not a good start, my weekend was just rearranged for me so looks like I'm now doing the ruta del murrintowneo on Sun and Sat will be spent cutting grass.
