Was a good day out. Had a moment of madness and did the 160km. Was ok but not sure if I could have run a marathon afterwards 163km in 6.11hrs

Hoping to get down to start the 110km and then make a decision on whether to continue on and do the 160km when I reach the separation point. 160km might be pushing it a bit though at the minute

Will try get over for this Mike. I was in in Sunday and the current was strong, took me 30mins to do 1km upstream.

I've wanted to do one of these races for a while and this looks like a good one. Might make an nice alternative to an ironman. Let me know if you're interested.

Great racing by both of you, although I'm not too sure about the snots and tears at the start PJ (I tend to cry at the end of an IM).

Big congrats to Frank for becoming a multiple IM finisher

Passed by the lads last weekend when they were out on their bikes. Frank looked like he had a raw chicken taped to each calf and PJ's legs looked like they'd been shaved to within an inch of their life......so they're obviously well prepared.
