Nire Valley Drop Sunday 30th Oct. Three distances, 30k,45k and 60k. Its an MTB sportive. Loads of single track. Really love this event. Myself and Nigel will be doing the 60k. If you like your mountain biking, then this is a great event. Plenty of short cuts if you decide to do a shorter distance.

Going to give this a go. Gingerbread run 10k and half. 20th Nov Portarlington. 80% full. Sold out early last year. Fairly flat route.

Completed my first 10k. Very happy. I Really enjoyed it. Rained a bit near the end so sweat and water in the eyes. Think I'll do another one.

Heading down to the JJ Reddy Danesfort Run in the morning. 5k or 10k I haven't decided. Aine doing the half marathon.

Registration closes this evening. Its €10 more to register on the day. Because of the weather report, which gives rain till noon and 8.1mm of rain from noon onwards, I'm waiting till Friday or Saturday morning to decide. Its not cheap. Food stop at 22k and 55k.
