Mine are more like 'how to' manuals rather than biog's
- Advanced Marathoning by Pfitzinger & Douglas (currently promised to Jim F but can have after)
- Total Immersion (swimming)
- Triathlete's Training Bible by Joe Friel (getting this next week but you can borrow it after I've read it)
Good post David, it's a pity, I have both Total Imersion and the Triathletes Training Bible as well, we could have saved a few bob if we had this earlier. I would love to see that DVD, have always threatened to buy one, much easier than reading. Might get that off you some time soon.
Lads anybooks on nutriation or similiar just to give an idea as to what i should or shouldn't be eating while training or to help in recovery. or if any one could recommend one I'll go get it and offer it here when finished with it.

here you go Brian, from my vault. Whilst it talks about the requirements for elite xc racers, the basic principles are the same for every level of rider:
