Seatpost

Post by shane »

In an endless search for the correct seatpost, it has come to my attention that I need a 26.4mm silver one. Does anyone have one lying around?

Hello worker man! It has to be silver because it has to fit with the colour scheme on my fixie. It's all about how it looks!

I'm afraid gold won't match it rudolf!

and nope, it was a lovely frame which takes a seatpost size that defies everything google and sheldon brown tell me about it!

You need one of these 25.4-26.4 shims
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... delID=1092

and one of these 25.4 comfy suspension seatposts

You may not go for these exact ones but you get the idea, skinny seatpost and shim to fit

I get the idea, but a suspension seatpost is not cool, people would laugh at me...lots!
Think i'll just get my third seatpost from CRC, the joy of it. Does anyone know if there's an upcoming sale i should hang on for?

It is a very bright green i suppose. I'll throw up a picture when its properly finished, should be this weekend. Had to change to fixed gear, its annoying.

David C, I know your jealous of my youth and my green bike!

David F, thanks!
