Kilrush 10k

Post by DavidT »

Hi folks
The Kilrush 10k is on Sunday, 18th May at 1pm, organised by our own Siobhan.
There were a few club battles fought out on this race last year, so either get training or the excuse better be water tight!! :D
Club championship points up for grabs also.

looking forward to it. very enjoyable afternoon last year. hope to see a big crowd out from the club to support a local race. Some serious duals last year amongst our MTB brothers!

Max is making his communion on Sunday so unlikely I'll make it. Probably best as I can still remember the hills from last year

Thanks everyone

It's in a really scenic part of the county- a challenging, honest course (as defined by our own Orla) and proceeds towards Ballyroebuck Hall, the Neonatal unit in Holles Street (where the Dempsey clan are being looked after) and Kilrush Camogie Club.

Registration is from 11am on Sunday at Codd's Pub, Kilrush with 10km race and 6km family/buggy walk both starting at 1pm, from just down the road from Codd's. Lunch will be provided afterwards in Codd's and great spot prizes too.

So come on- don't be a jessie- show 'em what you're made of.

BTW Peter Coulahan- you're an Ironman- surely you can't be scared of a little 10km?? :D or maybe we should just look for a Tough Mudder franchise??
