Well done to Brian O'Shaughnessy who ran a great race in windy (PJ - that's for you :D ) conditions. Got home in 1 hour 29min :!:

nice one. 69th out of 690, just sneaking into the top 10%, have to be happy with that

thanks all

really well organised and friendly race, good course, flat with pacers at the major time intervals made for a good attempt at a PB with the out leg slightly uphill and into the wind,
over 1600 had signed up for is before Christmas and with 700 taking part on a wet and windy day in January says enough about what people think of it
22 euro it's very good value, defo one for the calendar next year, if you're looking for a time i can't recommend enough picking a race with board pacers in it, makes life so much easier, just concentrate on running and not on the watch

one of the lads that runs with me on the weekends clocked 1.23 and 14th place, he's 35, chained smoked for least the last 20 years and is only training for the last 7 months!

they had music at a couple of points along the way, was thinking it would be nice to have a bit of music playing at the run turn in the racing795 tri for 2011
