Only rule is no bikes allowed
The race takes the path from Ballycrystal up almost to the turfcutters hut on Black Rock then across the ridge to the mast and back down
Dena and I did it last year, it's a great race and it's right on our doorstep
A good showing from Racing 795 could likely see us place well in the team competition on the day too
Lots of people know the route at this stage so should be no bother organising a few training runs up if people want to
Is better to run in grippy runners but this race can easily be done in regular road shows (I raced in road shoes last year)
Just make sure they're an old pair cos they will get filthy
