Narraghmore duathelon

Post by niallomuiri »

It was great to meet up with PJ and Mike at yesterdays Jonathan Mulhall Duathelon...makes a big difference having a bit of company at these events.....not that we were in each others company for long once the start gun went off (the Hare and the Tortoise came to mind as the two gazelles bounded off down the road).....I know it was a charity event but at 25euro, no timing chips, and a banana and bottle of water at the finish!!!!, it makes you appreciate that the 795 organised events are really great value for your dollar...

Eh....and,,,eh niall was 23rd a respectable 1:38:53 ;) although it was a bit dishearting to have three female joggers behind me for the entire 5k run..and they managed to chat non stop, while I waited for a coronary artery to burst....
