Best of luck in Carrig everyone, I hope it's as good a day as Dunmore, which was my favourite of the year so far. I'm busy bricking it 'literally' for the following weekend when I try tackle the 'Beast'. Look forward to seeing the reports and times, best of luck Tom on your debut

nope!--i'm afraid i gotta pull out of my first triathlon this year--managed to tear the muscles off my shoulder blade in that spill, - had no strength in my left arm after just swimming in courtown and realised i'll only manage some light mtb spins for a while after having to wuss out of some single track in djouce on wed night (disgusted)-
so as much as i'd love to take on carrick tmw, it ain't gonna do me any favours- hope to make it to cheer the rest of ye on, - best of luck to everyone- with a bit of luck the rain will hold off.

Another great day for racing 795 today, with brilliant results from competitors and great support from family/friends on the side,

Just want to clear one thing up, results would lead you to believe that my husband had a better swim time than me, i did actually get out of the water first with him right beside me, then with an elbow to the side i got pushed out the way, for him to just reach the mat before me! Oh well next race.....

More serious note though well done everyone!

Well done to all and thanks to supporters.

Special mention has to go to Tom Hogan on his debut and what a performance in 15th place, especially considering the last 5km of bike section was on the rim of front wheel - Tom you should have thrown the bike over your shoulder and ran the rest of race

Then Dena finishes in the top 5 women home - couples prize hands down every time.
