Good morning all, feeling a bit sore today. Joy is definitely the North Tipp Champ, very well done on her first Triathlon. I certainly surprised myself to say the least. Well done everyone, great times all round and individual PB's. The 'Dark Horse' Has Spoken........

Hi guys many thanks for your good wishes and kind words on my first tri outing it was an eye opener to say the least but when you are surrounded by upbeat people it goes along way. Thought i had a lot done realised i have much more to do, one mans sprint is another mans ironman! maybe if they allowed flotation devices and breathing apparatus in the pool it would help. Support plays a huge part when participating it was great to hear the roars of encouragement, even from my betterhalf on the other side of the road roaring 'push it' ever so loud that it got me up the hill as he sped down. And so I got through it crossed the finishing line smiling to the welcome arms of my kids . It was a great day out with super performances from the real heros Martin,Don, Barry and David the bar is well and truly set now so let the race begin.....

Great pictures, what a great day for it.
I am getting over my first triathlon, but I must say I have no pain from all the pre and post stretching done!!
I achieved my goal - to finish it, and wanting to do more...
Thanks for all the top tips and encouragement to get me here and to Shiobhan for the lend of the trisuit :P
Looking forward to getting better results - bring on the training
