Savage stuff out there tonight frantic carry on at T1 with one lad about to throw his bike over a gate!! followed by the nice undulating run in the woods, funny though no one seemed to be smiling coming back to T2 where it was more frantic transition. Barry

That was a great summer league - people asked last December "What do we get for our membership of the club" - the answer is...what happened tonight and all the other nights and all the other training sessions that were organised by the lads. These things don't just happen of their own accord.

IMO, competing against each other within the club is far more fun and creates much more incentive than any triathlon. So a big thank you to Barry for all his work and all the marshals over the summer.

Thanks to the marshalls tonight - Ciara, Megan, Yvonnne, Helen and Barry.

PS: Well done to the man with the white hands

Sorry I couldn't make this last night, sounds like good craic, I like your approach to transitions Fergal!!

Thanks Barry for putting the effort into organising this and all the rest of the work you've done with the duathlon, triathlon and MTB race
Thanks to all the people who marshalled over the summer too

Jaysus that was hardship! Well done to the fast lads, all the triathletes are in great form at the moment :D

Have to agree with Frank, I love this type of club racing, mainly because it's the only time I get to meet most people! Thanks again to Barry and all who helped out with the league.

Well done Jim and David, you did me proud once again. Looked like a great race, especially Frank hunting down Paul and beating him on a sprint. Well done Shocks, especially after doing the Beast on Sunday

Great craic again last night esp frank and paul playin chicken with the cement lorry on the first cycle, funny that nobody noticed fergal with the helmet everyone was so knackered :o

Barry - great route and really well planned, can only concur with all of the above, the club league nights have been some of the most enjoyable events of the year, they've all also been great training sessions, we'll have to throw a mountain bike section in there next year, maybe a timed lap around somewhere , thanks to the marshalls last night as well

1st Place.................Franks Freak's....................5:59:32

2nd Place................PJ's Plonkers/Plodders...........6:02:15

3rd Place.................Don's Demolishers...............6:10:03

So it all came down to the last event, with the top 3 placings reversed at the end, Don's dudes dramatically blowing up and losing 15 mins to the Freaks in the last event.

Well done to The King of the Freaks Frank, and his two freaky sidekicks Shocks and Joy

To the rest of you.......there's only one prize losers!!
