The usual suspects along with a welcome return of Martin faced the Beast today. Don put in his usual excellent performance. Martin obviously decided to just do the toughest tri's in a year when he hasnt as much time to train :) - and what a time. But the performance of the day goes to PJ who put in a savage swim, great bike and a fantastic run.. and i have heard him say "I hate hills!". It must have been the warm weather training - 3 hols a year from now on Yvonne

Great tri, really enjoyed it, very well organised and the marshals were fantastic for encouragement. Would i do it again - absolutely!

Looking forward to Martin's race report :)

Serious performancs all round yesterday and PJ definitely gets the vote of the day for overall best. He must have sneaked in a few sessions while away. It's a tough test to say the least, but as Frank says, the Marshalls made it a lot easier with the contstant encouragement. The eventual winner Stephen Earley must have been chased out of the water by the Beast as he was nearly 3 mins faster than anyone else and that's unheard of in Triathlon at the top of the field. Well done as usual to Wicklow Triathlon on a fab job, back again next year. Missed ya Fintan
