Congrats to Paul Hutton and Jim, both of whom have been selected to represent Ireland in their AG in the Euro Champs in Athlone this year

That's brilliant. A great honour for the lads and for Racing795. I'm sure Jim and Paul will do club and country proud.

Fair play to you both, that's a great honour and puts the club on the map on the triathlon side. I'll be over to cheer you both on.

Thanks for all the support guys but unfortunately the post was a bit prematurefor me. Although it is indeed a great honour to represent your country I feel that I haven't enough base training done this year to be at the required level of fitness by July. Therefore I decided a couple of weeks ago not to take up this wonderful offer. Unfortunately the day for accecptance has passed and this decision cannot be reversed.

I will now aim for the European or World champs when I move to the next agegroup in 2013.
