Did this in 2011 with Lorraine & Padraig George
It's a good race, very well organised, and swimming in the 50m pool is something a bit different
A good fast bike leg

Just a bit of a pain having to hang around if you're in one of the later waves
Transition closes for everyone at the same time before first wave and then you're not let back in until after you swim, so maybe bring a €uro so you can throw a few bits into one of the lockers in the changing rooms for during the race

Good luck

Are you still doing this Orla?
I see that the organisers have had to bring the start time forward by 2 hours and shorten the bike leg to 15km!!

Seems like they had some sort of bother between local roadworks and the Gardai not being very helpful

Good luck if you are doing it

Thanks everyone. Yeah, they have conveniently shortened the bike leg for our first tri ;) Should be an experience anyway, standby for report....
