http://www.slaneyolympic.com/calendar/?event_id=133

this Friday evening at 7pm in Enniscorthy, 4km for ladies and 8km for men.
Obviously most plan to run Sunday which is the priority but if you fancy a warm-up trot this is it

Potential to have a good men and women's team in this.
Some of our ladies team could definitely podium individually also and Fintan if recovered

No problem John,

Mike R was talking about coming-one more to make a team?! Two more better again!

BTW I should say this is open to all club members and there will be all standards running if people are nervous

You racing Dena? You"ll go fairly close to it?

What a great night's racing with 795 out in force. Tracey kicked the evening off in style and finished very strong to finish 4th in a quality field. The girl who won it is in the top 5 in the county and would be expected to complete very strongly in senior so this was a terrific run by Tracey. The marathon is well and truly behind her!

In the men's we lined out a great team with all the lads giving it all and landing bronze in the team event which is no mean feat given all the 'running' clubs we were up against. Martin
was on our last team that won bronze in the novice and always loved the team element, it's great to see the club competing at a county level and hard not to think of the big man. Fintan put the frighteners up a few again by not settling for anything other than gold and lead out the front group for a good while, ballsy - some day it will pay off Fintan! Well done to Ross, PJ, Paul and Mike (this man has real speed in his legs ans is going to kill tri this year!), we needed everyone. (was in a bit of a hurry home so had to leg it after, sorry we didn't get a picture)
