Ok just registered. The eating has started. Looks like its going to be a good route. Any Race Course designed by biking.ie is a good one. Cant wait

I know Brian M is going. Who else is going? Or have some got more interest lately in tying their shoe laces rather than putting air in their tyres.

Savage going by Rudolf on a very tough course, less than 8 minutes off the podium!

The European marathon champs are being held in Ballyhoura next June 14th & 15th: https://www.facebook.com/pages/European ... 48?fref=ts

There is a marathon race on for the regular guys on the Saturday (long and short options) with the big guns racing then on Sunday to spectate at.

Has the makings of a great weekend, camping etc maybe a few of the long time mtb'ers could be coaxed out of their premature retirement and a chance to try out a marathon race for some of our newer members...? :D

Well done lads, great going.

Re the Euros, schedules may have changed but talk of retirements is premature Brian. I like the idea of an early season marathon so this is a likely 2014 target for me. It'll take a bit if doing but I fully intend to beat you

No retirements - summer was trail building and TDF. You're nearly an hour quicker than my time last year!
