If anyone even has the slightes intrest in Downhill racing then they should realy get up to this, it is by far the best Downhill track in the country and the racing will be intense.

Ah good old Steve Peat, i just wish the Irish tracks were that dry haha, here's a vid of the last round of the NPS in the Glen of Imaal, day started off nice and dry but when the second runs started the heavens opened and eveything turned to mud, made for some good sideways action (and a good few crashes too)

Just over a week to go till the 2010 Irish DownHill National Champs and it looks like there will be two racing from 795 ;) , our main man Rudolf has signed up in the sports cat :D , i dare say that as we speak he is at home pimping up his bike to tackle the champs track in Rostrevor.
I'm going to be up at the DH track with Rudolf next wednesday for some practice, if anyone would like to come along for a bit of craic and have a go on the DH bike your more than welcome, we can even do a bit of jumping for those who would like to learn.

Not long back home from a days practice up at Rostrevor and man is it going to be tough, the track is so fast yet so unforgiving, one slight mistake is going to cost the race i think, if you have a head for the steep nasty rocky drop sections then you are going to do well, but if you are of a slightly nervous standing then it's going to be a long 3 mins on the track.
I can't wait for the race :D
