I hope to make Ticknock the first of this year, and tick off a few more after that.
Super low key events with great reward in racing
Just like the hurling, the league's (generally shorter & marked route) sort of act like a warm up for the championships (longer & unmarked - some map reading required)
But don't let that put you off the likes of the Leinster or Irish Championships - weekend racing that takes you to some of the best mountains around

Nice one John - have added it to the events list and agree -- these are great low key non fuss races with some class scenery and a great quad burner especially if you decend like Dempsey or Shaughs
