MTB - Da Cooley Thriller, 6th August

Post by BrianM »

The second best MTB event on the calendar this side of Switzerland!
Saturday 6th August in the Alps of the Cooley Peninsula.
Anyone else up for a mtb challenge or will ye spend the rest of the summer on Jim's epic goober spins.. Dodging singletrack and sitting around the entrance of diggertops?!

Gonna be a good one

DF was on about that during the week, never done it but on the bucket list. What's the best event? Need I ask?

Ahhh Conway, asking that question on the club forum and all.. It's a cool race, think lots of stuff like slieve ban and sheep trail xl and you have a good picture. Lovely scenery if the weather is good. Can't wait as I missed it last year due to holiday.

Wouldn't be able for a long spin like that in August would probably have to train so I'm out as they say.

see how you feel closer the time Jim. There is also a shorter route option if people do not feel like doing the big one that takes in most the best bits I believe, be great to have you there.

Sounds cool, would be interested in the 52k. 18k is too short.
