I'm hoping to give this race a go this year

Route starts in Crone wood, goes across Powerscourt Ridge, up Djouce Mountain and back again

For anyone (like me) who bought new shoes for the cross country this could be a good time to use them

Ive had this one in mind, so i will probably do it.

I might be on for that John - looks like a fairly tasty course!

If i can organise a babysitter for first half of Sat - would be on for this... i think!

However, just reading a forum comment

"Are you familiar with the route? It will not be marked so you will either need to recce it beforehand or else be a competent navigator."

Has anyone done this before?

How about going up next weekend Frank?
We could head up early Saturday or Sunday and head off ourselves, that map on the IMRA site appears to mark the different trails around the area so with a bit of patience we should be able to find our way around
I'd be on for another 8am start if you want, just let me know which day suits you better

Believe me, you wont get lost on the route, just keep heading up

Wont be able to make it to Wicklow but still working on following weekend - if i do i will just follow the crowd of stragglers

Don't have the time really to make it to wicklow this weekend John, but would be on for another hill run early Saturday - 8am?
