Is that a no then Aisling? Bear in mind MTB is one of the world's great hangover cures.
As for Lorraine the wife (sorry about that!), as our most experienced woman rider you really should try and have a go at this if at all possible.

Hey for those wives and mammies out there I am intending to travel for the great day out that is promised and the slap up lunch on the way home, so i will be there to watch any extra kiddies! com on they know me and eve is already planning race entertainment... so see you at the start line lorraine ;)

I shall consider it, but I have not been on a bike since the training thing. And it's in Cork, and I have lots of study to do.

I agree went mtbing one sunday morning after a wedding first ten minutes not pretty but top class cure. biggest job is carrying the 4 gallons of uisce you'll need !!

The Hardware store owner will be there with his wife and son. I can also bring some daughters for child minding duties for the builders wife.

If you like, but I think you should go for the Sports A. You'll want to go round again after 1 lap and you're well able for 2 laps (22k)

I definitely not a Jessie!
And I think one lap is plenty, i haven't been on a mtb since the training day!
