Date for your diary - 17th July.
Info
http://www.irishxcmtb.com/2011/06/20/20 ... pionships/
Note categories/start times are different from NPS.
S3/S4s will start at
12 noon.
If anyone is doing UCI categories, those races start at
2pm
Kilruddery is a nice venue, with plenty of room for spectators so if the sun shines bring the kids and we'll all have a big picnic and cheer Rudolf on in the Masters!

Fortunately, I will be lying in a beach in France with my gang, fattening up for the upcoming mtb marathon season.
Agree with DC, its a great, family friendly venue.
As for the course - I did my first race there - The Rock is indeed something to behold

Right, I'm going to race S3. It's a 12 noon start, earlier than usual but it'll be a nice change to get the racing done early and maybe hang around to watch the later races or test some of the demo bikes that will be there. Rudolf is doing Masters. Who else is in?

Well done to Rudolf on a fantastic 5th place in the National Championship Masters race today. "The Champs" is Irish MTB racing at its toughest so I reckon Rudolf's result today must rank among the best by any of our members this year.
Full results not up yet but Ross was best of the rest of the 795ers in S3, followed by me and Jim. Brian did well in S4 and Barry was unlucky to have a bad day at the office but hey, that's racing

Well done Rudolf, brilliant racing. Agree with DC, definitely one of the best results of the year, so far.
