Re: TRI 795
well done to the Tri795 comm--iittt--eeee for the hard work they have put in.
The forecast is good, so lets make sure it's a day to remember for the competitiors, many of whom are doing their first triathlon

Way to go DC, hope all that sneaky swim training pays off
Re: TRI 795
Very funny. I might have to walk most of the swim but I'd beat you all the same!
[If I was participating of course.]

Re: TRI 795
Yes best of luck to everyone on Saturday, especially Maggie and Grianne who will be doing their first tri, hopefully the first of many.
Looking forward to the day, a repeat of last year will make it a runaway success, well done guys for all your effort thus far.

It was a Brillant day
A special word of thanks to all the marshals but especially the marshals who are not members of Racing 795 who gave their time to help us out
Also anyone who didn't get a goodie bag let me know here

Re: TRI 795
That was a really enjoyable race to be part of yesterday. Having got a behind the scenes look at the hard work Barry, PJ, Jim and Martin put into putting this race together getting to see it from the racing side was great.
Of course Registration was just brillant everything going smoothly.
Even though I haven't done many triathlons, the bike course is the nicest I have done. The run, even though it was brutle, was enjoyable. Maybe this was because I knew how far that hill went up . The encouragement from all the club (and non club) members on the course was fantastic, except of course for one little lady who shouted
"what took you so long, hurry up will you". (typical mini Dunne)
It gave me a great buzz coming in and out of transition with all the shouting. Thanks to Helen B who stood in for me for marshalling so I could take part. I really, really enjoyed it.
