Best of luck to Peter Coulahan this Saturday in the Hardman long distance tri in Killarney
Not content with being the clubs first branded Ironman
(did you get the tattoo??) he's now determined to have himself declared a Hardman
nothing like slipping a little ironman into a family holiday

You beat me to it John
Best of luck Peter looks like the weather will be ok
To cycle the ring of Kerry in a day is an achievement
To do as part of an ironman is madness
Hope all goes to plan

Thanks lads. Given how little training I've done this year on the bike Saturday could be a long day in the saddle. The course isn't too bad, around 1,200m of climbing and the route avoids the really big ROK climbs between Sneem and Killarney although we do get to go up Molls Gap which is supposed to be a tough one. There are only 30 individuals and 11 relay teams doing the race so I have a very good chance of coming in last!
No live race tracking for this one, I'll stick up a post sometime on Saturday evening when / if I finish
I really am going to have to come up with an easier way to keep the weight off
