Our club are ranked 18th out of a possible 59 registered tri clubs!!!
And thats with just 6 members doing national series events(only 5 count i know)
Well done Don, Frank,John, Ruairi and Jim.
Unfortunately thats the male team our female team only contists of Lorraine so come on girls get training for next year!
With members only competing in one more NS event (Pulse clogherhead tri) we mustn't let the side down you never know we might even catch Midland tri club

Seriously though there's some big clubs behind us in that list eg Galway, Setanta and Predator and the local competition nowhere to be seen

of course if helps when you have a One-Man-Points-Machine-The-Don on your team.......

Don was telling me about this club competition. We should really get together and try to ensure we have a min of 5 competing in
every National event next year.

So here is a suggestion for next year: A gathering early next year with people having picked their preferred races prior to said meeting and then review as a group so that we can achieve the minimum no. of triathletes required. Any thoughts?

I like the idea of meeting over a pint / mug of tea to pick raced together, I would definitely be on for this.
From what I know though, we don't need 5 members at each NS race to count? Just the combined score of our top 5 from any set of races?
The other thing from this year is the club members who raced NS but didn't score points for the club, is this a one day licence thing or just that they were nit associated with R795?
