Jim Has been operating under the radar but has both tri's and mtb races to collect pts for him. An eachway bet surely

Barry Its been a quite year for Byrne but remember he's never finished outside the top two!

Peter Another ironman , a marathon a half ironman and a few ordinary tri's who knows Frank and David decide

David F Would it be possible that the man who collates the data wins?

LorraineThe only female competitor this year again history could be made

David C Has been plugging away quietly in the background. And has turned into an even bigger savage on the bike

Well PJ great minds think alike, just as you were writing your post, i was writing this....:

So folks, the time is nearly upon us again.

The points have been calculated and as they say, we have a winner. So for a bit of craic again here's the top 6 in alphabetical order. it's up to you to guess what the actual order is. A special prize on the night for anyone who guesses it right

So who is it?
Has Der Kampioen defended his title?
Has DC kept it in the hands of the mtb'ers?

Or maybe Don picked up a little more in PonteVedra than he thought....

Impossible!! Last year no-one got it right and we had the benefit of a half year results update, whereas we have absolutely no idea what anyone has achieved to date this year. All I can say is I didn't win it. If the club person of the year ran from season to season, I'd be a contender, but my first two results were closer to the winner than my last 5, even though I ran faster. There was no bonus points for the away outing and even though I got the extra points for NS races, you can't win with any negative points!!!. I'm not hugely offay with the MTB Results and how they work but from the whisperings in dark corners I hear DC turned into a savage this year and a very good evens bet, while Rudolf is already a savage and a very consistent year. Lorraine has some very big point results this year, PJ has definitely had his best season and finished on a high with a fab result in the Pulse Tri and what about NS Podium finisher Frank, who also had huge swim time improvements. Impossible to say and possibly the tightest year yet... 6th for me and happy , after that who knows??

Woohoo! top 6, that'll do. I had a good summer, and may actually have been a savage for a few minutes in July, but I'm back to normal now.

For myself it's a tale of 'if only'

If only i hadnt dnfed in cork
If only I was around for the national champs
If only I could change the rules to get loads of points for mtbing around Europe

Well as Don said i havent a clue! . Had a great year doing different mtb events rather than just concentrate on the XC NPS. Still plenty racing during the season. For a top 6 here it is
