Well to be honest Experience Triathlon this year was looking a little touch and go for a while, until just over two weeks to go when a couple of mothers from the swimming clubs got on the phone and started making things happen! This year we have kids from Waterford, Wexford, Wicklow and Carlow including some promising young stars who have qualified for the Elite Junior triathlon squad starting in September.
In total we had almost thirty kids this year, which brings us close to 50 over the last two years.
Our first week was in Enniscorthy Pool and Astro Active in Enniscorthy and our second week was in Coral Leisure in Arklow, which turned out great with the running track. We were exceptionally lucky with the weather it seems, especially when you look out the window today!
Some of the highllights of our two weeks included one of the kids doing 300 metres in the pool in 3.43 minutes, and the scorching hot weather on a few days!
To summarise it in four words - Great fun, hard work!

Well done Ruairi its great that both yourself and Claire s hard work paid off, fantastic to have another successful year and nurture young talent. Wishing you well for the future it will be a number of years before any young 795 ers will be old enough to join ye so stick with it
