Folks - Meitheal required tomorrow evening from 6.30 - 8.30pm and Saturday morn 9 to 11am.

Sandra Morris and Gillian Moorhead and others are working tirelessly to get the pool ready.

Calling all members who avail of the pool or whose kids avail of the pool and play facilities, please put your shoulder to the wheel to help the committee get ready for the opening.

Painting, strimming, weed gathering (i sprayed the weeds two weeks ago), general tidy up required.

Bring your own tools i.e. paint brush/roller, paint tray, spades, wheelbarrows, yard brushes. Hope to get a representative from each family to help out.

BTW we hope to get two lanes for club swimming 8 til 9 on one of the week nights

I won't be able to make it down but myself and Helen picked up a full black bag of rubbish from the playground on Wednesday.
Barry had already planned to go down on Saturday to do a bit of work on the pump track, so he'll be there.

Great stuff lads - anyone got a petrol strimmer for a half hour of work? C'mon folks we need a few more!

Not sure how Im fixed, but have already committed to doing a bit of painting later in the week x

Lads - floor of pool cleaned tonight and weeds dug and gathered around the tennis courts.

Painting required for three of us ( o bring your painting clothes) and a little strimming for Jim along with remaining weeds to be dug up.

We start on walls of pool at 9 bells
