Lands end to John of Groats...

Just a quick update on my Saturday cycling buddy..Liam Kelly..Day 3 of his marathon cycle...has reached Shrewsbury following a day 2 over nighter in Bristol..486klms covered already, and he still hasn't taken an allen key to that rattling bottle cage....Prevailing winds pushing him on, but got a soaking yesterday...Averaging 150k a day...Some going....

Day 4...arrived in Standish, just out side Wigan 604 klm done..a tough day, soaked through..and "bike in sick bay twice" hopes to hit Kendal, on the edge of the lake district tomorrow eve...flying.

Day 5 despite a broken chain arrived in Penrith 147klms enjoying a pint and a bag of chips....and hasn't texted back since I told him the Dubs bate the living daylights out of them in Parnell Park today......

Day 6 in Glasgow.. and according to one of his brudders Liam.wore out a pair of cleats, walking from one bike shop to another..and then had to buy new cleats....jaysus, he's breaking my heart................

Liam made it to Forth William yesterday and today crossed the finish line at John of Groats and says
"go raith maith agut go leir"
