Club 'Away' Weekend 2011

Is the 6th/7th of August

This year we are heading to Killaloe, County Clare for the Brian Boru Challenge. There are two events - a sprint distance triathlon, which is a National Series event this year, and an Olympic Distance event. Participating in either event on the weekend will get you a whopping 20 participation points in the 2011 club Champs ;)

Hope to see the mtb'ers join us as well, as there is lots of mtb'ing in the area, including Cragg Woods which will host a round of the NPS this year.

There's also lots of accomodation with two hotels and lots of self catering in the area

As the sprint is a NS event, it'll probably sell out quickly, so keep an eye out here, registration opens in March: http://brianborutrichallenge.com/site/

Can't make that weekend, what with supporting the Ironman participants in Copenhagen on the 14th and the RMC on the 20th

Hi Guys, I just went on to the Triathlon Ireland Website to register for this and it said there were only 10 place left (only 9 now after me), so if you haven't registered I'd suggest getting in there quickly or you could miss out.

I have spoken to Albert Quigley from Boru Tri Club. He is looking at the options for us and will get back to me next week.

Watch this space.
