A great Sportive today..great company,,and a great measure of where we're at regarding Tour de Frank...And the reality is, it was tough, even with perfect weather, getting the feeding and fluid intake right, even cycling in a pelathon, sheltering and free wheeling, and when they pulled away, we cycled as a group of four, minding each other..it was still hard going. So the big question is "Could I do it all over again tomorrow?"......And honestly....I need to put more consistent miles on my legs...

When Niall says minded each other, he means minding me. Only for the lads saying to keep going and Alan's dragon shots and gels I would still be sitting over in a ditch in rathanna somewhere. Found today really tough going, not sure what happened but it took all I had to get to the finished. Those hills in Inistogue are murderous. I'll agree with Niall, I've a lot more training to do before TDF. Thanks Niall, Alan and David for all the shelter and encouragement. Saying that, great sportive.

Congrats to all.
Interested to know your time and average speed was, my self and Nick managed 81.56km in 3:41 Avg 22.1kph....this was a really comfortable pace and there was plenty in the legs at the end.....I acknowledge we where 50km short off what you did, but maybe just getting the pacing right would make all the difference....Asop was well clued in with the tortoise and the hare ...

Well done all today. Was on the hills on Bunclody side of kilbrannish and saw lots of cyclists. Cheered on Eddie O Neill, Mick Mahon and Ger Tobin, spotted Phil Murphy from Wexford Tri also. Sorry but had to leave before seeing any 795ers as was up there at 1 ish
