Anyone interested in mid week morning sea swim? Wind guru suggests Thurs morn might be best option, as Wednesday wind is from north east again!

lads, just a suggestion:

given that the weather is not playing ball with the sea swims, why not head for the river?

Myself and Barry used to do quite a bit of swimming in the Barrow over at Clashganny near Borris. it's safe, fairly clean and not as cold as the sea. and obviously no waves...

i might even go with ye...

Anyone interested in a sea swim wed morning in Courtown? Wind from NW so should be okay. Was thinking about a regular time and day - Wed morns and Sat eve's if enough were interested. Wind doesn't look favourable for Sat eve, so wondering if Paul Hutton could show us this 150m stretch of River Slaney in Aghade. Any interest in either or both venue's and nights and times that suit. We need to be sure of at least two attending from a safety point of view, so please post your interest.
