NPS Rd1 Recce - Slade Valley

Ok folks, here's the plan

I'm leaving Bunclody at 8am on Sunday morning. It takes a little over an hour to get to Slade Valley.

We'll meet at the Blue Gardenia pub in Brittas. Apparently there's some issue with using the pub carpark so I've been asked to park OPPOSITE the pub. The easiest way to get there from Bunclody is up the M9/M7 then off at J6 signposted Castlewarden/Kilteel. Then it's a couple of km across to Brittas.

We should aim to be pedalling before 9.30. Then we have a few k's cycle on the road up to the forest. Plan is to do a lap together so that everyone knows their way around. Then do another 1 or 2 laps at your own pace. Plan is to be finished up around 11.30 to be home for lunchtime (me anyway)
