Thurs night run - Golf Club

Any interest in making this a regular fixture, as before meeting at the gate for 8 pm. I reckon there is enough of us out there to get a good group going. Barry you need to get those miles up, Ross you like to run with the pack, Frank you also need to keep the mileage up, Jim are you in? Orla I am hoping your going to share your wisdom with us. Anyone else.........

Hi Joy,
This sounds great, thanks for organising. I should see you there next Thursday.
Also, if anyone is keen for some interval training in the GAA grounds (mid-week, during the day) please let me know. I'd be very happy to have some company!
I usually do one of these sessions, or similar:
Warm-up
8 x 400m efforts with standing rest
10 X 1km
5 x 2kms
15 x 100m sprints
Collapse....then stretch and some core work
I'll post here when I'm going.

It has been brought (oh so subtly) to my attention that the description of the intervals below is a little confusing - sorry! To clarify:
I usually do ONE of these sessions:
Session 1:
Warm-up
8 x 400m efforts with standing rest
Cool down....
OR (on another day!)
Session 2:
10 X 1km
OR
Session 3:
5 x 2kms
OR
Session 4:
15 x 100m sprints
I'm going to do the 8 X 400 session tomorrow, starting at 9.45 if anyone can make it.
