Thinking of giving up this cycling lark and just organizing coffee mornings instead. The wind killed us from Ballywilliam home over the mountain.....had to stop in Borris for french toast and coffee served in bone china..(not suitable for kids but I managed to convince the owner to let liam in, as he didn't have stabilizers on his bike, so he was a big boy.......have to say he was a bit anal, asked us not to lean the bikes against the street furniture, in case a customer wanted to sit outside..jaysus it was 10am in the morning with a gale force wind blowing down the main street, we were the best thing that was going to happen to ,his buisness this morning..Still french toast and maple syruheavenp. Bet Frank and the 11am whimps didn't get that.....In fact I think me and Liam are the only 795'rs gaining weight....

Maybe that poor proprietor in borris just didn't want ye 2 lowering the tone and was just too polite to drop any more obvious hints

You can sing that, coffee would have been welcomed, all I got for my trouble was the dull ache of lactic in my legs for 2 1/2 hours
