Dublin Marathon training - long run anyone??

Post by Elainegib »

Hi all!!!
Just wondering if anyone is training for the Dublin marathon and interested in joining up for a long run this Saturday morning? I need 16 miles [easy pace - something like 9 min miles...ish ]. Bored doing the long runs on my own!!! Just thought I'd ask in case it happens to suit anyone...I'm in Ballon, but happy to travel! Desperate for the company :-)
Thanks
Elaine

Hi Joy, thanks a million, very much appreciated! I had one planned for early Sat morning, but have to change that now...so don't know what time i'll be able to get out. I might give you a call in a couple of weeks though! I'm confident I'll be able to talk for the first 1 or 2 miles...after that I can listen :-) Thanks again Joy...speak to you soon.

Hi Elaine
I'm running the Dublin marathon too but my runs are very irregular at the moment - ran Friday evening this week instead of Saturday and doing nearly every other run at lunchtime. I'll catch up with you at some stage for a run.

Thanks Dave! Maybe let me know next time you're up around the 20 miles on a weekend and see if we can meet up then.
Cheers
