Post by Gazpw »

Is there anywhere that we can get to for a spin? i'm going out of my mind here, i mean i have a new base layer and a new front tyre and nice new spokes in my back wheel and i can't get to ride the feckin thing  ,(plus i'm putting on lots of weight cause i'm eating all the xmas chocolate ;) ) i thought about going down our back roads for a spin but it's not enough, i want adventure haha

Well that was a good spin, good bit of single track fun and a few long but steady climbs, Brian was bitten by the puncture beast today (3 in total) but that didn't spoil the fun, GOD and Kindlestown are in good shape, maybe next week again?
Thanks for driving up Brian, we owe you a couple of beers.

Yeah Brian thanks for driving up, great spin trails where in good condition even the tunnel was rideble. Brian tackled the drop off under the fallen tree for the first time well done. Gary likes pruning trees as there was another one pruned today. great day to be out and have a laugh in the sunshine and muddy trails. cheers

I do like pruning trees but that tree was a little bit bigger than me :D , i managed to avoid a full body slap on the big beach tree but in doing so i hit the fallen larch instead haha, ah well i suppose thats what you get when you try and take race lines in the snow and ice lol  , i'm unscathed so it's all good ;)
