Dena and I are heading for Courtown tomorrow morning at 8:30am
Splash around for a bit and then some class of a run afterwards if anyone else is interested?

Not sure what water temps will be like but sure nice to get out in this weather for the first of the year

No, this is not some kind of another April fools thing, I swear I've had 3 club members ask me about that swim David F was 'organinsing' on April 1st, this is the real deal

well that sorted the men from the boys 4 brave soles from racing 795 hit the sea for the first time this year, hope to see more of ye next week!!!!!

Right swimming this morning, Brian S, Dena & Tom joined me in lovely calm waters in Courtown.
A bit of brain/face freeze to get started but we got used to it quick enough.
Swam down to the pier and back before heading north for a bit and back to the lifeguard hut again
Twas cold alright but depending on the weather over the next few weeks don't see any reason not to get back into Wednesday mornings again? What do you reckon Mr swim coordinator?
My wetsuit does seem to have shrunk over the winter though however that happened

how did first sea swim go today? was out there yesterday evening for a blast of fresh air and it looked pretty choppy. think i'll leave it another few weeks!!!

not good we got in and out in a record few min, just to dangerous. try again next week

just as a rule of thumb and for future reference - when there's an 'east' in the wind direction you can be sure it will be choppy
