Following a great 795 turn out for last Sundays Ferns Sportive....lets keep it going..so Mike will take a group ( i think) Im not around.... out for a 30k spin this Thursday meeting Kildavin 7pm.....All Welcome...we're no longer a beginners group we are a cycling group

Still getting a great turn out for the Thursday Spins...We will keep it going to the end of August. As the evenings are getting shorter, please please wear HiViz clothing and a rear light....It got quiet dull last Thursday causing us to shorten the route...So same again this Thursday 6th Aug...meeting Kildavin GAA pitch 6.45pm sharp...(Josephine take note of the word SHARP)

Also in relation to the 100k spin to Athy on Sat the general consensus is that Sunday 9th is a safer option for group cycling...and our previous experiences on the kildare roads is that traffic doesn't give us the same space...the 1.5 stay alive message just hasn't crossed the border in to Kildare..yet....

The emphasis will be on pace, with a frequent rollover. Aiming for average pace of around 22/23 Km/ph.
Also bring your runners, short run afterwards, few laps of the GAA pitch, easy pace.
