Biweekly Wed night TT

Post by frankb »

Folks, We plan to run a biweekly TT -

First week - Park at sharoe in Clonegal and cycle to watchhouse cross for 7am. We go off singly at 30 second intervals and you time your own 15 k - 7.5km out an back. Put your own time up on a google doc and chart your progress over a few months. - https://www.endomondo.com/routes/703673357

Google doc - click here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

Second week - Park in Kildavin and cycle on the duathlon route - 12.5 km hilly and again you time your own spin - https://www.endomondo.com/routes/481379623

What you need - helmet, bike in working order, watch, high-ziz/BRIGHT jersey/rear flashing red light.

Rock u and off you go - this is suitable for all and just gives people a feel for a TT - good prep for triathlon training or to add a bit of power to the legs for whatever you have planned.

So starts 7pm April 13th - do your own warm up before 7pm and we will outline where you start and finish and where turnaround is - on the eve

Second week = April 27th

I'll be there for most hopefully.
Any bike will do folks doesn't need to be a TT. Wouldn't fancy a TT bike on the hilly route the following week :o

Folks, google doc in first post above - feel free to add your time from last night. Any other member who wants to join this the next night is more than welcome and you can choose whether to post your time on the google doc or not. It's purely a record for yourself - to map your progress.

Well done to the four lads, good times posted last night - ye now have to go and beat your own times the next time :D
