Bunclody Outdoor Swimming Pool 2016

Folks - especially new members, Bunclody have an outdoor 25 meter pool (located beside Garda Station, behind the petrol station adjacent to Garda Station). There is an adults session from 8pm until 8.45pm - costs a fiver per session.

Temp this eve was perfect for swimmers. Just letting you all know. If people want to post here, if going on any other night - please do, you might drag someone else out with you and it's soo much easier swim with a few others.

I am kicking it off by suggesting Monday nights as a possible club night but this will not be a coached night. I can bring along a swim session from the many we have received from our coaches, let me know if coming so i can write it up onto a whiteboard. You can do as much or as little as you like. Will see how this goes, before I ask for swim lanes to be put in place. It's not very busy, so we might manage without it.

Great turn out at this last night - Pool was warm and even David F got his head wet

Thanks to the pool for putting up the lanes for us and to Adam Ryan for the coaching tips. We put up a swim schedule on a white board, but there is no compulsion on anyone to complete all on the list. Very relaxed setup so don't be put off if you haven't swam in awhile!

In the Pool for 8pm as we have to be out of the water at 8.50pm

Called up today just to check if pool is open tonight as it's a bank hol. It's open at 8.
