Summer Time Trials

This year we will have bike time trials and 5 km runs.
There will be 3 of each alternating every two weeks.

The bike
16 km time trial.
Same route as last year so Clonegal out the Carnew road for 8 km and back.
Wednesday evenings dates & times below
Meet at the top of village.

The Run
5km run
Ardattin track
5km = 12.5 laps
Tuesday evenings before kids running. Kids can play on track so mammy and daddy can run! :D

Dates

Wednesday 17 th April 16 km bike tt @ 18.15
Tuesday 30 th April 5km run @ 18.15
Wednesday 15 th May 16 km bike tt @18.15
Tuesday 28th May 5 km run @18.15
Wednesday 12 th June 16km bike tt @18.15
Tuesday 9 th July 5km run @18.15


Open to all levels.
Self timed. Record your own time and we will post up here for motivation.

Helmet, bike & runners thats all you need so no excuses. :o

Also keep tuned for details of the 2 evening summer club meet ups.

Fair play PJ for organising
Won't be able to go this week as away, and probably gonna give Bray Aqua a shot on the 12th June, but other than that hope to make most of them

Good selection of evenings so lots should be able to make some of these events, which are as much social as anything else. Lots of thought put into this by PJ as usual, so honour it by taking part when ye can

The first bike TT this Wednesday can be pushed out to 6:30 pm if that suits better.
But as its self timed I suppose you could start a bit later.
Later TT's can be held later as the evenings get brighter.

The run times are set as their before kids running.
But it depends on your predicted run time , we must be off track at 7 pm latest.


So who's going this Wednesday ?

Great idea, but bit too far to travel for us. Anybody north of bunclody fancy meeting up closer to home, record the times that way and then post them up?

Tapering this week, but I should get to most and bring Daniel along for the runs :)
