Stonyford 10k
Anybody doing the stonyford 10k tomorrow?
Re: Stonyford 10k
We aren't headin to this, but we have been to the 10 and 5k many times before and I would really recommend it, such a friendly well organized race. Good prize money too

Thanks dena, I'd say the prize money will be well gone by the time I cross the finish line
Re: Stonyford 10k
Well done Colm, 48.11 good stuff. How was the course?
Re: Stonyford 10k
Good man Colm, I did this race last year - lumpy is one way to describe it Shaughs
Hill's hills' & more hill's
Was a great spread afterwards though last year - not one for pb's but a really well organised nice day out that the whole village seems to get behind
48 mins is a great time anyway, but even better on a course like that

Re: Stonyford 10k
Thanks a mill lads. Was thrilled with the time first time I broke 50 minutes. Brian the course is exactly what John said, hills , hills and more hills. It was tough the first 4 k all up hill evened off between 4 and 6 then up hill again untill 9k then a lovely downhill all the way to the finish line, that was nice. As John said super 10 k even had pacers!! Great spread afterwards and great atmosphere. Def do it again next year. They are talking about a half marathon in the summer?
