Paul Hutton and myself were up in Athy today for swim Athy, we swam the sprint course ie 200m up and 550 down.
Firstly the water was "warmer" than i thought it would be.
The 200 m up wasnt that bad really got a few kicks etc the usual.
But once we turned it was all plain sailing.
The water was clear enough.
Current not that strong.
Times not up yet.
Paul , Barry and myself might get together this Thurdsay evening in Edermine.
All welcome,post details later.

What an enjoyable weekend of racing and cheering. Thanks to everyone who turned out to cheer us competitors on :) very much appreciated . fairplay to those who made the journey a couple of times true diehard supporters. And hey with thirteen kids there yesterday we must surely be grooming a future Irish champion. :?:

Hi guys

Well done to you all at the weekend, looks like great fun, and you got the weather for it. Wish I could have been there, but I was on good husband duty supporting my wife in Cork. It lashed rain all day yesterday, and was completely miserable. Good news was that Claire managed to beat her goal and finish in under 4 hours - 3:59:54!!!
