The usual R795 order remains the same in the S3 ranks, McElwee, DC, me, Jim. Ciara had a puncture and Miron did good in his first S4 race. of course Lorraine was the star, on the podium in 3rd (aren't you on Facebook.... ). Rudolf, now back racing with EPIC was 3rd in S2 which was a great achievement in a really tough category

Hard race in good conditions, great to be at it again...now for more training, I'll catch them feckers before the year is out!

Thanks everyone, my first NPS race and I don't think it'll be my last. It was very tough but strangely enough enjoyable too.

Hard luck Ciara on the puncture and well done everyone else. How you guys can go around that course a third time is beyond me...I was shattered after two laps.
Now just for a bit more MTB training before the next one.

Great days racing on a brilliant track with perfect weather.

Well done to all the first timers, great results on a tricky first outing and what felt to me like a longer than usual nps track. Hard luck on the technical problems but that is racing sometimes. The loads of cheering on the start/finish was brilliant, cant wait for Rd2

Next up Round 2 in Ticknock on 10th May, hosted by MAD.
Unfortunately it is a Saturday and it clashes with work/communions etc but posting details fyi anyway
