Wont make this "spin" sorry...
Re: Summer League MTB and Tri
Super hard aggressive racing from the start tonight with everyone having a go at some stage and Patsy having several hard digs off the front with the last one paying off. Great nights entertainment, pity the evenings are getting too dark to continue. Might be an idea to have a race one weekend a month over the winter if there is enough interest. Thanks to Jim for organising tonight..

Ah it was great!
Big thanks especially to Patsy, Mick and Phil for lighting up the proceedings and making it interesting. Those digs were hard to hang on to!
I'd definitely be on for more of these...maybe Staurday evenings? few pints afterwards

Had a blast on my first taste of road racing. Even through in a few digs of my own just for the craic! Think I'll wait til I'm in better shape before I do it again. I'd love to keep it goin over the winter. Thanks Jim for organising.

Great turn out last night for the cycle race, thanks to everybody who participated.
Congrats to Patsy on a great win, he's setting the bar high for the rest of us.
As this was so well received I am proposing to run two more training races. Saturday 20th Sept and Saturday 4th Oct. Both races to start in the square Bunclody at 4.30 pm.
Post here if you are interested.

Re: Summer League MTB and Tri
The postponed mountain running race will now take place next Saturday Sept 13th.
The course is an 8k loop starting at LCP Kilbranish running up the fire road to do a lap of John's Hill and back down. This is an off road run and trail runners are recommended.
Meet at LCP at 4.30pm for a warm up run with race commencing at 5pm. An unfit super vet MTB'er can do this in under 50 mins so it shouldn't take the quick people very long.
All welcome
