Another great result for Tom - 2nd place in the Wexford half after competing and coming 2nd in Wednesday night IMRA race - not too many prepare for a half that way!
A real clean up job these days Tom, hope you're enjoying it!
Paul Browne also had a great run in the recent Slaney Olympic 5 miler coming in just over 32 minutes which is very nice running
Wexford Half Marathon and SO 5 miler
Re: Wexford Half Marathon and SO 5 miler
I'm enjoying them in a sick sort of way. Wednesdays race was the toughest race I've ever ran, reduced to a walk after around 6 minutes due to the incline, then 2 mile of long runnable drag followed by a b!*&h of a finish where I had to walk, crawl, climb the last 200 meters. Following this up with a half marathon was not a good idea. Where I ran well up to the 1KM mark and then had to drag the body kicking and screaming the following 20KM. I'm sure Dena's ironman will be doddle compared to that

Fair play again Tom, the accolades are certainly abundant at the moment. Keep it up. By the way if you were reduced to a walk in a race then the rest of us would need climbing ropes or more lightly be going backwards
