as the forecast for Sunday is atrocious we are planning a spin tomorrow afternoon instead. forecast is showery

departing at halfway - house at 4:30pm

route:

mullaun
red gate and around the hill
towards turfcutters
baby's head trail
pilgrims path
the field
gravel rd
ruined village
hikeyerbikeabit
green road
scullogue gap
heinous 3 gate climb
around the head of Aughnabrisky
red van
back to the gravel rd
halfway by rd

steady pace, likely to take 2.5 to 3 hrs

there are some short cuts and bailouts for anyone looking for a shorter spin

for anyone who hasn't been over this side of the mountain, the views are stunning
