Right well I am off to party with the TT boys tomorrow :D Happy Days :D earlier in the year when I thought about signing up for this one I realised the dates would clash and there was no debate I would need to be looking my best so i quickly dispensed with the idea of making the dash to dub after the tri so here s wishing you all a great race, and even better battles. John and Adrian going head to head, I reckon it will be settled on the run so give it welly :x Lorraine dont stay back of the pack on the swim get in there and be sure to come out ahead of Barry :P . Pj you were watching Brian O Sh back on Wed evening so its time to make amends dont you think. And finally the auld boys Jim and Frank off together with the ladies need I say more  Enjoy it , hope its a great event for you all , go on lets see who finishes on top ;)

Good luck to everyone heading off to Dunmore East today. Here's a photo of some dodgy characters taken by Frank in Bunclody early this morning. I'd say the other competitors will be shaking in their boots when they see this lot arriving!

well that was a BAD day as the races yesterday,
The swim wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, apart from the first bouy I didn't get involved in too many scuffles. If only I had known Barry was running out of the water beside me I wouldn't have stopped to take off my wetsuit. :)
the bike and run were a disaster, well when I say run I mean it was an attempt at running that went into a walk and sometimes very nearly a crawl. :o

i'll just have to put that one down to experience.

Well done to all the lads, there were great times in there on a very tough course.

Especially well done to Barry, Mick and Pat aka The 3 Spanners, who came 5th in the Relay.

What a difference a year can make!
2 mins slower overall but a massive 5 mins slower in the swim alone
Saying that the swim was a lot tougher than last year
With some saying it was 900 mts
Improved my bike times by 15 sec and my run by 2:45
So happy with that.

Some brilliant battles ahead for the summer ;)

Great swims by Martin and Adrian
And did you see lance burkes bike spilt jayus :D
What a run by Brian and it's only his second triathlon we better watch our backs!

Another great swim from Lorraine
What about Jim 'I've been doing no swimming' Furlong
And Dempsey so much for my aero helmet advantage with your bike spilt

Really good day out well done to all

i can see now how a 10km can take 50 mins plus now! :o good experience, swim and bike were okay, less said about the run the better, John did a great final km I had the flo*cker in my sights but he pulled away great and finished very strong. hard luck to Adrian, would have been battling with Pj tennis ball head and Martin except for the injury. Would have been funny to have been at the end of the swim to see Barry, Lorraine and Jim all breaking their necks trying to see who came out of the water first, good battle between PJ and Martin as well.

Spilt of the day has to go to Frank who whipped everyone on the bike

great location for a tri - we should look seriouly at this for the club weekend away next year, close to home, great spot for pubs and sure that we'll get a good crowd down,

I am very disappointed with PJ's disregard for colour co-ordination with that silver tea-pot on his head.

In the ongoing search for those valuable seconds, i wonder who will be the first to turn up in a pair of these bad boys cough ahemm PJ:
